As our new Sales Manager, you are responsible for all sales and marketing activities in the Finnish local market. This is an independent role as the only company representative in Finland, combining elements from sales and client acquisition, marketing, account management and business development. You will be the face of SIR Safety in Finland and your job is to market and sell SIR Safety System products BtoB and manage a network of distributors, large retailers and online resellers, both existing and new ones. SIR Safety has an existing presence in the Finnish market, but we expect you to be the difference maker to take our market share to the next level.


The scope of your work includes, but is not limited to:

  • Drive sales through excellent customer service and product knowledge
  • New client acquisition and building long-term business relationships
  • Managing client relations and identifying new sales and collaboration opportunities
  • Market research and continuous development of sales functions and opportunities
  • General marketing activities including participating in trade fairs and events


This position is for someone with genuine drive, desire to reach goals, business intellect and the capability to develop the business within Finland. With no fixed location or office in Finland, we expect you to be a seasoned pro in managing and planning your own tasks and responsibilities. As the scope of your role is a national one, you should be comfortable travelling where your job takes you within Finland and occasionally you are asked to travel to Italy for trainings and product launches. Your most important stakeholders are naturally our clients and internally you will work very closely with our sales team and product development You will report directly to the International Business Director, Antonio Spaccapanico in Italy.

While your background can be from a variety of industries, it is crucial to have proven results in sales, marketing or business development. Ideally you are already familiar with the workwear market with knowledge about the vendor and distribution network or have end user experience from construction, industrial surroundings or equivalent. Depending on your skills and background, it is also possible to take on brand strategy and/or brand recognition related tasks. In best case scenario, your success will lead to extending your scope to rest of the Nordic countries.

More than a specific technical background, you need to have a commercial mindset. Strong negotiation and presentation skills are ‘must have’ qualities. You need to be equally comfortable discussing business with end users, local warehouse staff and senior business decision makers as well as conducting product demonstrations. As you will be reporting beyond the borders of Finland, fluent English and Finnish skills in both written and spoken are a necessity. Being a home-office based role, you may be required to hold sample stock, catalogues and informative material at your premises.
