WORK TASK

As a Sales Engineer / Specialist you will be responsible for supporting different sales projects at ABB Oy Marine & Ports MPS global service sales team. You will be responsible from the enquiry to signing of the contract in line with the defined sales process including preparation of cost calculations and quotation documents. You support sales projects risk review preparation and management. Improve the efficiency and quality of sales processes and participate in R&D- projects representing customer and market needs.

You will be part of a global sales team that has team members in eight different countries, and you report to the Global Sales Manager. Work is mainly done in office hours but flexibility with the hours is needed to be able to collaborate with clients in different countries. Working hours are 37,5h per week. Location is in Helsinki, Vuosaari with hybrid working model.

As a Sales Engineer / Specialist, you will be employed in a permanent employment relationship, where Adecco will be your employer. Employment starts as soon as the professional can start working.

WHAT WE REQUIRE FROM YOU

To succeed in this position, you should have educational background in engineering or business. Gained some relevant working experience in sales but also good technical knowledge. Excellent skills handling big numbers and convincing customers with best arguments. Fluent English skills oral and written. Other language skills are seen as an advance. Previous experience with pricing, contract terms and legal issues is seen as a big advantage.
