The history of Adecco SA reaches out to year 1957, when Adia was founded in Switzerland. Adia and Ecco merged into Adecco in 1996. Adecco is the world's leading provider of HR services to companies - about 700.000 people worked through us in our client companies daily throughout the globe. Adecco is the fourth largest employee in the world. We have about 6000 offices in 60 countries. Our revenue in 2007 was over 21 billion Euros and we employ about 30.000 own employers totally. In the Nordic countries Adecco has 190 offices.

In Finland Adecco has operated for 10 years, since 1997. With over 20 branches throughout Finland, our experienced consultants are never far away. We serve our clients across every market sector, and have dedicated teams specialising in key areas, including Industrial and Office sectors as well as IT, Finance & Legal, Engineering & Technical and Sales, Marketing & Events business lines.

In addition to Adecco's own staff of over a hundred recruitment and staffing professionals, Adecco employs weekly 1400 professionals from different business areas around the country. The lenght of the assignments can vary from few hours to months and even years. We operate in Helsinki, Tampere, Turku, Oulu, Kotka, Hyvinkää, Vaasa, Rauma, Lohja and Jyväskylä.
